Laura is an organizational psychologist and owner of Paris Phoenix Group, a consulting firm specializing in the intersection of science and HR. Her work is centered around employee well-being, employee engagement, and organizational culture.
Laura was a co-founder of Limeade, an employee experience software company, holding the Chief People Officer and Chief Science Officer roles. Before Limeade, she worked at Microsoft as the Director of People Research and has worked in employee research roles at various other companies.
A sought-after speaker and thought leader, Laura has keynoted at significant tech and HR conferences and has been featured in Fast Company, Forbes, HR Executive, Inc., NPR, SELF, US News & World Report, and other top HR publications. She is writing a book about organizational culture with The Economist , which will be published in 2024. Laura brings workplace science and applied experiences to the Happy at Work podcast.
Michael is the founder of Positive Workplace Strategies (also known as, Boston Executive Training), a consultancy specializing in executive coaching, private coaching, keynote speaking, and corporate training. With decades of experience, he has worked with organizations of all sizes, helping them foster positive workplace cultures and enhance employee satisfaction.
For over 12 years, Michael has served as an instructor at the Harvard Division of Continuing Education, where he teaches courses on positive workplace dynamics, entrepreneurship, and sales management. He mentors students, helping them create realistic businesses and providing guidance on compelling pitches and presentations.
Michael holds a Master of Applied Positive Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania and pursued studies at Harvard University in various fields, including mind/body, psychopharmacology, positive psychology, and entrepreneurship. He completed his undergraduate education at New York University, earning a B.S. in Finance and Management.
Tessa is a respected leader and expert in brand strategy, talent management, and organizational development. With a Ph.D. from Simmons University and extensive experience in healthcare, she is dedicated to advancing academic discourse and operationalizing brand values.
Dr. Misiaszek brings a strategic perspective to organizational identity and marketing strategy. Before joining the Korn Ferry Institute as Head of Research, she spent nearly two decades leading human capital strategies in healthcare. She has also taught at the New York University School of Professional Studies, Harvard Division of Continuing Education, Hult International Business School, and the Simmons School of Management, inspiring future marketing and HR leaders.
Her expertise lies in navigating the relationship between marketing strategy and workplace culture. Her insights into branding and the pivotal role of effective leadership highlight her ability to distill complex concepts into practical strategies for HR leaders. Dr. Misiaszek is committed to creating positive workplace cultures that prioritize employee well-being and drive organizational success.
